�131 Bluehill Aug 2 1862 Dr Sir, I find at Bluehill George W Chatto 4th Me Reg Co (20) was made a Prisoner at the Battle of Bull Run and claims to be absent by reason of Parole, was parolled at Saulsbury N.C. May 25. 1862. will immediately report himself at Augusta - Augustine W Eaton. Enlisted in 4th Me Reg Co (24) Oct 14 1861. and claims to be absent by reason of sickness though he is able to be about and does some work - he has the fole Discharge - "This is to certify that No 259 A W Eaton, a sea man has this day been discharged from U.S. Steamer Judge [inserted] Torrence and from Naval service at his own request" Dated May 23 1862 (signed) "Hugh Nott" Act Pay Master Approved "Le Roy Fetch Liet Comdg - has applied for discharge Yrs Truly Augustus Stevens
