Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the Committee to which was referred so much of the Governor's message as relates to the North Eastern Boundary to inquire into the expediency of providing by law for the appointment of Commissioners on the part of this State, by the consent of the Government of the United States, to survey the line between this State and the Province of New Brunswick according to the treaty of 1783, and to establish monuments in such places as shall be fixed upon by said Commissioners and Commissioners to be appointed on the part of Great Britain - read and passed in concurrence.

Order from the House of Representatives, appointing Messrs. Holmes of Alfred, Hunt of Gorham, Wells of Halloerll, Eames of Bethel, Lowell of East Machias, O'Brian of Warren, and Allen of Bangor, a Committee, with such as the Senate may join to inquire into the expediency of authorizing the Governor to tender to Doctor Usher Parson, late a surgeon in the Navy, some suitable testimonial of the gratitude and respect of the people of this State, for his skill, bravery and fidelity in the memorable battle and glorious victory on Lake Erie - read and passed and Messrs J. Redman, Mildram and Robinson of Lincoln are joined in concurrence.
