Mental health is an important public health issue globally. A potential link between heat exposure and mental health outcomes has been recognised in the scientific literature; however, the associations between heat exposure (both high ambient temperatures and heatwaves) and mental health-related mortality and morbidity vary between studies and locations.
To fill gaps in knowledge, this systematic review aims to summarize the epidemiological evidence and investigate the quantitative effects of high ambient temperatures and heatwaves on mental health-related mortality and morbidity outcomes, while exploring sources of heterogeneity.
A systematic search of peer-reviewed epidemiological studies on heat exposure and mental health outcomes published between January 1990 and November 2020 was conducted using five databases (PubMed, Embase, Scopus, Web of Science and PsycINFO). We included studies that examined the association between high ambient temperatures and/or heatwaves and mental health-related mortalit-5.421), and a significant effect was also observed when the definition was "mean temperature ≥95th percentile for ≥3days", with a RR of 1.064 (95%CI 1.006-1.123).

Poultry farms and LPMs are a reservoir of antimicrobial resistant bacteria and resistance genes from feces. The LPM is an important interface between humans, farm animals, and environments in a typical urban environment, and it is considered a reservoir for ARGs and viruses. However, the antibiotic resistomes shared between chicken farms and LPMs, and that of LPM workers and people who have no contact with the LPMs remains unknown.
We characterized the resistome and bacterial microbiome of farm chickens and LPMs and LPM workers and control subjects. The mobile ARGs identified in chickens and the distribution of the mcr-family genes in publicly bacterial genomes and chicken gut metagenomes was analyzed, respectively. In addition, the prevalence of mcr-1 in LPMs following the ban on colistin-positive additives in China was explored.
By profiling the microbiomes and resistomes in chicken farms, LPMs, LPM workers, and LPM environments, we found that the bacterial community composition and resistomes were siselection with the live poultry trade. Our findings highlight the live poultry trade as ARG disseminators into LPMs, which serve as an interface of LPM environments even LPM workers, and that could urge Government to have better control of LPMs in China. Further studies on the factors that promote antibiotic resistance exchange between LPM environments, human commensals, and pathogens, are warranted.

To characterize the population dynamics of GI-colonizing K. pneumoniae, we examined the clonality of K. pneumoniae isolates, which were longitudinally collected from the fecal samplings of a healthy married couple and their pet animals during Sep. 2015 to Oct. 2016. As revealed by XbaI-PFGE analysis, the K. pneumoniae populations detected in the male owner and in one of the dogs, consisted of clonally diverse K. pneumoniae isolates; whereas, a dominant clone persisted in the GI tract of the female owner who was prone to chronic diarrhea. Whole-genome sequencing analysis of a representative strain of this pathobiont clone revealed a sequence type (ST) 29 lineage with the carriage of KL54 cps locus and a 192,603 bp IncHIB-type virulence plasmid. After probiotics intervention, the pathobiont K. pneumoniae diminished. The vacant niche was transiently occupied by other clones of K. pneumoniae, one of which was also present in the male owner.
