Wednesday, February 8, 1837.

Order from the House of Representatives instructing the Committee on the Militia to inquire into the expediency of appropriating the sum of One Hundred Dollars for the finishing of the Gun House in Wilton - read and passed, in concurrence.

Order from the House of Representatives, appointing Messrs Brooks of York, Phinney of Standish, Sproul of Waldoborough, Woodman of Wilton and Ames of Prospect, a Committee with such as the Senate may join, to report when the Legislature may have a recess - read and passed and Messrs. Littlefield, Benson and Mildram are joined, in concurrence.

On motion of Mr Whitney. Ordered that the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire what alterations, if any, are necessary in the law regulating the licensing of pedlars of tinware within this state - read and passed. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of Lawrence Greene and others, praying for an alteration in the law in relation to the inspection of hops - read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
