The Bill "providing a method of doing justice when through mistake executions are levied upon real estate not belonging to the debtor" which passed this House 6th instant came back amended at A & B for concurrence - and the House refused to concur.

Ordered, that the joint - committee on banks and banking be requested to enquire forthwith into the doings of the Bangor Bank, and have leave to report by bill or otherwise - read & passed - sent up for concurrence.

Petitions of Joseph Holland & others for authority to build a bridge across the Androscoggin River at Canton Point near the ferry - of Joseph Farbell & others of plantation No.3 N.East of Machias for a law requiring owners of mills on Pennamaquan River to keep open sluice ways for the passage of logs - were severally read & referred to the committee on turnpikes, bridges & canals. Sent up for concurrence.
