[Counsellors notified]

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the Secretary of State to notify the Hon. Isaac Lane, William Chadwick, James McLellan, Joshua Gage, Daniel Merrill, Jonathan Farrar and Elias Stowell, Counsellors elect, of their election, & request their immediate attendance on the duties of their office - and the House concurred.

[Senator to Congress]

Ordered that the time for the choice of Senators to Congress be changed to Wednesday next at 11 o'clock.

[Resolve on State printing]

Resolve, (reported by a committee appointed for the purpose,) relating to the printing of the State - was read once & referred to Messrs Parsons, Clark & Sturdivant.

[No petition of a private nature to be received after 20th inst.]

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing that no petition of a private nature be received by the Legislature after the twentieth day of this month - and the House concurred.

[Committee - taking depositions]

Ordered that Messrs Williams, Twitchell, & Sands be a committee to enquire what alterations if any are necessary in the law providing for the taking of Depositions with leave to report by bill or otherwise. Read and passed.
