[Committee - on subject of Dexter Academy &c]

Ordered (on motion of Mr Wilkins) that the Bill which passed this branch of the Legislature the last session establishing an Academy in the town of Dexter and the accompanying papers, be taken from the files of the Senate and sent down to the House - Sent up for concurrence - The Senate concurred - sent down the papers and they were in the House referred to Messrs Dunlap, Call and Chamberlain.

[Acceptance of sundry Counsellors]

Communications from Isaac Lane, Joshua Gage, William Chadwick & James McLellan Esqr. signifying their acceptance as Counsellors were received - read and sent up.

[Committee - additional term of S.J.C. at Bangor]

An order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing Messrs Case & Whitney with such as the House &c a committee to inquire into the expediency of establishing by law an additional term of the S.J.C. to be holden at Bagor in & for the County of Penobscot and the House concurred and appointed Messrs Abbot of Castine, Pratt of Freeport & Stockwell of Eddington on their part.
