Ordered, That Messrs March, Perry & Read he a committee to enquire if any provision in necessary to ensure a convenient passage for teams & travellers on the ice on all or any of the Rivers & streams where Ferries are established within this State - read & passed.

Report on petition of Congregational Society of Shapleigh granting an order of notice, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House nonconcurred and recommitted the subject. Sent up for concurrence.

[Daniel Rose Lilter [?] respecting States Prison -]

A letter was received from Daniel Rose Esq agent for building the States Prison communicating the progress of the building, expenditures &c together with sundry other papers on the subject which in Senate were read & referred to the committee on the subject of the States Prison & sent down for concurrence - and the House concurred.
