Reports, on petition of Jesse Page - on petition of John Lewell - on petition of Selectmen of Frankfort granting leave for resolves, came down accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

[Committee - damages on Inland Bills &c]

An order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing a Messrs Wheeler & Witham with such as the House may join a committee to cosider whether any addition or alteration be necessary to an act regulating damages on Inland Bills of Exchange passed by the Legislature of this State February 28th 1821 - and the House concurred and messrs Joseph Adams of Portland, Ruggles & Pond were joined.

An order came from the Senate instructing the committee on new trials to enquire as to the expediency of passing an additional law respecting the taking of depositions in perpetuam [?] for concurrence, and the House concurred.

[Committee on deed of Joshua Jay 7 als - reported a Resolve -]

The committee to whom was referred the special message of the Governor accompanying a deed of a lot of land in Augusta form Joshua Gage & als on which to erect the Public buildings of the State reported a resolve providing for the acceptance of said deed - The report was accepted in Senate and Resolve passed, and sent down for concurrence of the House - The house assigned tomorrow at 10 oclock to consider the subject.
