Resolve on petition of Parker Noyes, was read & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

The committee on so much of the Governors message as relates to the States Prison, reported that they had examined the account of the Superintent and found it correct, and that the sum of $ 914 35/100 appears not to be due him - The report accepted in the Senate came down for concurrence and the House concurred.

[Convention proposed 6 quality Counsellor]

Message from the Senate by Mr Smith their Secretary.

Mr Speaker, The Senate proposes a convention of both Houses at 11 o'clock this day to qualify John Balkan Esq Counsellor elect - The House concurred and the Clerk was requested to acquaint the Senate therewith.

Agreeably to assignment the two Houses met in convention in the Representatives Chamber when John Balkan Esquire Counsellot elect came in & took & subscribed the oaths required by the Constitution to qualify him for the discharge of the duties of the office.
