[Resolve -]

Resolve in favor of Heman Nye - was read a 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

[Committee - limitation of certain offices]

Ordered that Messrs Parsons of E. Pond & Sweat with such as the Senate may join, a committee to take into consideration the expediency of passing a law limiting the term of certain Offices - read & passed - Sent up for concurrence.   

[Report - John Gordon & Ar Lewis]

Report on petition of John Gordon & Archelaus Lewis, granting an order of notice, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

[Report - on Treas Bond]

The committee to whom was referred the "Bond of Elias Thomas Esquire Treasurer of State for the faithful performance of his duty in the office reported that the Bond is duly executed & the sureties ample & that it ought to be accepted - read & accepted - Sent up for concurrence.

[Committee - chain man of Reference to administered oaths -]

Ordered, that Messrs Ingalls Eveleth & Riggs be a committee to take into consideration the expediency of authorizing the chain - man of references to administer oaths to witnesses in certain cases - read & passed.

[Report - Robt Boyd & als]

The committee on the petition of Robert Boyd & als, reported a reference to the next Legislature - report accepted.

[Report - Plan. No 6. ]

Report on petition of Inhabitants of plantation No 6 to be incorporated by the name of Berlin, granting leave for a Bill, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.
