Reports on petitions of Eliashib Adams & als - - of David Wisgatt & als - - of Amasa Taylor & alls - - of Gershom Wait & als - granting orders of Notice came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.

Resolve in favor of Human Nye, was taken up, and the House receded from their amendments to this Resolve and passed it to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve respecting Etna Bridge in the town of Etna, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill additional too an act for the regulation of Inholders, Retailers, and common victualers, was read a 2d time & passage two 3d reading [underlined]refused.

Bills - to incorporate the Portland Female Charitable Society - - authorizing the Governor & Council to settle accounts with Jordian Agents & for other purposes - to incorporate the Manufacturers Bank - - to incorporate the Proprietors of Canton Point Bridge - were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolves - in favor ot Honas Cobb - - making compensation to James Irish, Land Agent - - in favor of China Academy - - in favor of Samuel F Hussey - - authorizing the Land Agent to convey certain lands to Phillip Page & others - - in favor of John Perry - - in favor of Herman Nye - - granting a pension to James Pomroy - were finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.
