Bill additional to an act to establish a Municipal Court in the town of Portland, was read a 3d time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bills in addition to an act providing for payment of costs in criminal prosecutions - in addition to an act entitled an act for incorporating certain persons for building a bridge over back Cove River between Portland & Falmouth & &. - to change the time of holding the S. J. Court in the County of Cumberland - - to incorporate the Proprietors of Mount Desert Bridge - - repealing an act to establish a Ministerial fund in Chesterville - were passed to be Enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolves in addition to a Resolve apportioning the Representative on the several Counties, towns & plantations & &. on the first apportionment - - on the petition of Tomah Lou - - respecting Etna Bridge in the town of Etna - were finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to repeal an act to establish Courts of Sessions & for establishing Courts of Sessions, was passed to be enacted. The question was taken by Yeas & Nays as follows - Yeas 54 Nays 52. Mr Cram moved a reconsideration of the last vote & this afternoon at 4 oclock was assigned to consider the motion.

A communication was received from Jonas Parlin Esq Senator from the County of Suffolk, signifying his resignation of that office in consequence of his appointment and acceptance of the office of Sheriff of said County - read & sent up.

A report of the Committee of the Senate accepted by that body was received informing the House that the Constitutional Candidates
