Bill in addition to an act concerning the apportionment & collection of taxes, was read and referred to the next Legislature and ordered to be published in the Eastern Argus. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve for the relief of John Sargent, was called up and indefinitely postponed.

Report on the petition of Isaiah Willis, granting leave to withdraw came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - And the House [underlined]non-concurred & referred the Subject to the next Legislature. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve authorizing the Governor to procure a title to the land upon which the State Arsenal is erected and for other purposes, reported in a new draft which was accepted, was read twice & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - providing for the distribution of Copies of the Constitution of this State and of the United States to be used in Schools, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill authorizing the town of Portland to assess a tax on the owners of Dogs, came from the Senate passed to be engrossed as in the original draft for concurrence - and the House concurred.
