The Committee of Conference on the part of the House have met the Conferees on the part of the Senate on the subject of disagreement between the two Houses on the engrossed Bill, in addition to an act entitled an act for incorporating certain persons for building a Bridge over Back Cove River, and reported that it be recommended to each House to recede 'from their votes for the purpose of introducing an amendment by striking out all the words in Sec. 1. between [underlined]"river" and [underlined]"word" - Read & accepted - and the House adopt the aforesaid amendment - Sent up for concurrence.
Resolve relating to the division of Public lands, came from the Senate that body insisting on their vote passing the same to be engrossed - and the House also insist upon their vote refusing to pass the same.
The Committee appointed to ascertain what unfinished business it is necessary should be passed upon the present session, made a detailed report, and that it is expedient to make up the Pay Roll including Monday next - The House accepted the report in concurrence with the Senate.
