AGENCIES OF GOVERNMENT STATE OF MAINE

1.00 GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.01--Committee to Contract with a Printer for the State. Created by R. 1820, c. 2.

Duties--agree and contract, in behalf of the State, with some person to do the necessary printing for the State.

Members--3 appointed by the Legislature.

1.02--Commission to Survey and Establish a Line between Maine and New Hampshire. Created by R. 1827, c. 2.

Duties--ascertain, survey and mark the dividing line between Maine and New Hampshire in its whole extent, and erect suitable monuments to designate the true boundary of said states.

Members--2 appointed by the Governor with advice of Council.

1.03--Agent to Repair to Washington, D.C. Respecting the Northeastern Boundary. Authorized by R. 1832, c. 1.

Duties--repair to Washington, D.C. and deliver to the President of the United States a copy of the resolve concerning Maine's Northeastern boundary, with which is a request that he lay the same before the Senate of the U.S. and also that he deliver a copy of the Vice President, the heads of Departments, and to the Representatives in Congress.
