An order came from the Senate for concurrence appointing Messrs McDonald & Wellington a committee with such as the House may join on so much of the Governors message as relates to the choice of Electors of President and Vice President of the United States - and the House concurred and Messrs Russell of North Yarmouth, Cummings & Lothrop were joined.

[Committee - repeal 2d Sec. of act to restrain Banks]

An order came from the Senate for concurrence instructing the Committee on New Trials to enquire into the expediency of repealing the second section of the act entitled "an act to restrain unincorporated Banking Associations and for other purposes" passed 13th March 1821 with liberty to report by Bill on otherwise - and the House concurred.

[Warrants issued by Justices of the Peace.]

An order came from the Senate for concurrence instructing the joint standing committee on New Trials to enquire into the expediency of further regulating by Law, the proceedings upon Warrants issued by Justices of the Peace - and the House concurred.

[Secy to employ some person to draft bills &c]

An order came from the Senate for concurrence, requesting the Secretary of State to employ some suitable person whose duty it shall be to assist the members of the Legislature in drawing and copying Bills & Resolves and the House concurred.
