Mr. Small from the committee, on the petition of James B. Fisk & others, reported that they have leave to withdraw their petition. - Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence. - came up concurred.

A message from the House by Mr. Child their Clerk. "Mr. President, The House of Representatives on their part have elected the Hon. John Chandler, a Senator from this State to the Congress of the United States, in concurrence with the Senate." -
