Ordered that the committee on New trials by requested to enquire & report what provision ought to be made by law to authorize the turning of streams of water from their natural course to accomodate [accommodate] Mills & factories &c - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to authorize the sale of ministerial lands in the second parish in the town of Shapleigh & for other purposes - was read a 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Resolve providing for the choice of Electors of President & Vice President, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
