The committee on the subject of the endorsement of writs, reported a Bill - report read and accepted.

Bill respecting the endorsement of writs, was read once & tomorrow at 10' oclock assigned for a 2d reading & referred to Messrs Dane, Jos. Adams of P. & Shaw.

Reports - on petition of John Mahan & als - on report of James Bridge & als Commissioners on mode of managing public lands - granting leave for Bills, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence & the House concurred.

[Committee - notice of sales of real estate of deceased persons]

Ordered that the committee on New trials be instructed to enquire as to the expediency of providing a uniform mode of giving notice of settlements & sales of estates of deceased persons, as decreed by Judges of Probate within this State - read & passed. Sent up for concurrence
