On motion of Mr Knight, Ordered, that the Senate be requested to take from their files and send to this House, the petition of James Lord & others, & all other papers relating to the same - read & passed.

[Committee - next meeting of Legislature]

On motion of Mr Fuller, Ordered, that Messrs Fuller, Nowell, & McCrillis be a committee to take into consideration the subject of fixing the place for the meeting of the next Legislature, with leave to report by Resolve or otherwise - read & passed.

[Committee - law respecting Judicial process &c]

On motion of Mr Johnson Ordered, that Messrs Dunlap, Johnson & Thomas be a committee to examine the Law regulating Judicial process & proceedings for the purpose of making an additional act, if necessary, for filing notes in offset, in certain cases, with leave to report by bill or otherwise - read & passed.
