On motion of Mr McCobb, Ordered, that the Committee on so much of the Governors Message as relates to the militia be instructed to enquire into the expediency of repealing so much of the present militia law as requires towns to keep a quantity of power on hand - read & passed.

Bill respecting Enginemen which passed this House 18th inst. came from the Senate referred to the Committee on so much of the Governors Message as relates to the militia, for concurrence - and the House concurred.
