Report on petition of Samuel Hale & al granting a bill, came down accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Bill to provide for the erection & government of a State Prison, was read a third time & referred to Messrs Adams of P. Quinnam & Scammon.

[Bill - set off a part of Columbia to Harrington -]

Bill to set off part of Columbia to Harrington, was read a 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10' oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

[Bill - ministerial fund in Greene &c]

Bill establishing a ministerial & school fund in Green which passed this House 25th inst. came from the Senate passed with amendments at A & B for concurrence - & the House concurred.

The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed, Bill, fixing the compensation of the members of the Council, Senate & House of Representatives - to alter the times of holding the Court of Sessions in the County of Lincoln - to incorporate Saco Lodge - to annex part of Jarvis Gore to Eddington - establishing Foxcroft Academy - to regulate the Salmon, Shad & Alewives fishery in St Croix and its branches - were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

The same committee reported as duly engrossed, Resolves - in favor of Amos Nichols - authorizing the Court of Common Pleas & Supreme Judicial Court to admit certain persons to practice in said Courts respectively - were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence. -
