On motion of Mr Hazeltine of Searsmont Ordered, that the committee on the Pay Roll be directed to deduct from the daily pay of each member of this House the number of days he is absent during this session of the Legislature, unless he be detained by sickness, or some unavoidable accident. read and passed.

Resolve providing for the purchase of Greenleafs Reports for the use of the State, was read two several times + passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

A communication was received from the Secretary of State transmitting the estimates for County Taxes, received from the Clerks of the several counties together with sundry documents accompanying the same, which on motion was referred to the committee on County Estimates.
