Duties--hire an architect to design, prepare plans and specifications and supervise construction of tourist information center at Kittery.

Members--1 from State Highway Commission, 1 from York County, 1 from Maine Publicity Bureau, 1 from Joint Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs, the Director of Vacation Travel of the Department of Economic Development, and 1 from the Maine Hotel-Motel Association.

11.01 Committee on the Uniform Commercial Code. Created by R. 1959, c. 106.

Duties--prepare the necessary repealing and amendatory provisions of the Revised Statutes to conform to the Uniform Commercial Code.

Members--3 members of the Bar appointed by Chief Justice of the Supreme Judicial Court.

12.01--Land Agents and Surveyor. Created by R. 1820, c. 22. Land Agent recreated by P.L. 1824, c. 208, § 10. Abolished and duties assumed by Forest Commissioner by P.L. 1923, c. 1926.

Duties--perform such acts and duties relating to public roads and care and preservation of timber on public lands as prescribed by the Governor, R. 1820, c. 22. Duties expanded by P.L. 1824, c. 280, §1 to include the following: superintend and manage sale and settlement of public lands; make contracts and execute deeds in behalf of the State, according to provisions of the act; sell at public auction or private sale all grass growing on public land from year to year; preserve timber and grass growing on public land; keep correct plans of all surveys and
