request and by advice of friends transfered to the Band which I was formally member of. I am now nearly as strong as ever and am determined to stay in my Cauntry's cervice during the War, and wish to be in more active cervice than in the Band. I feel out of place and wish for an appointment in one of the new Regiments, as the vacancies ar all filled in the 2d. I have made myself well acquainted with millitary matters and should be willing to be examined by any United States Officer, and shal do my duty let it be what it may. Hoping to heare from you faivourably and thankful for past faivours.
