Messrs Lothrop of Leeds " Trafton of Camden have leave of absence after Thursday next during the remainder of the session.

Messrs Watts of St George " Miller of Waldoboro have leave of absence after Friday next during the remainder of the session.

Bill - additional to the several acts for the preservation of Fish in Penobscot River & Bay & the several streams emptying into the same, laid on the table by Mr Pond of Bucksport, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at ten o clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - to incorporate the town of Oxford, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill - additional to an act to establish a Court of Common Pleas, laid on the table by Mr Pond of Bucksport, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3d reading.

Resolve authorizing the Penobscot Tribe of Indians, to sell Smith Island, was read twice & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence

A Message was received from the Senate by Mr Hutchinson their Secretary, Proposing a Convention of both Houses at 12 o clock today in the Representatives Chamber for the purpose of choosing a Counsellor for Oxford district to supply the vacancy occasioned by the resignation of Reuel Washburne - and the House concurred and the Clerk was requested to acquaint the Senate therewith.
