A Message was received from the Senate in forming the House that the Senate have reconsidered their vote whereby they accepted the Report on Petition of Samuel Andrews and others ordering Notice to next Legislature requesting the concurrence of the House and the House concurred and the Clerk by Message acquainted the Senate therewith
On motion of Mr Dumount of Hallowell Ordered that the Committee who were appointed to examine into the condition of the Treasury department of our State be instructed to enquire and report to this House where the public money has been deposited in what manner the Books of the office are kept and whether touched can be produced for all moneys which have been paid out by the department Read and passed sent up for concurrence
Leave of Absence was granted M Robinson of Hallowell for seven days from and after this day
