164 Bill to annex a part of the town of Hallowell to the town of Gardiner was read a first and second time and Tuesday next at ten o'clock assigned for a 3d reading

Bill to incorporate the Naquawock and Schoodic Canal Company was read a third time and passed to be engrossed as amended in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve for the erection of a Gunhouse in Belfast was read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

A Message was received from the Senate proposing a convention of the two branches of the Legislature tomorrow at 11 o'clock in the Representatives Hall for the purpose of choosing a Treasurer of State requesting the concurrence of the House and the House concurred and the Clerk by Message acquainted the Senate therewith
