139 Saturday January 25th 1834 Met according to adjournment On Motion of Mr. Washburn of Livermore Ordered that the committee on Banks and Banking be instructed to ascertain and report whether the President Directors and Cashier of the Kennbec Bank have applied the funds and property belonging to said corporation on the day immediately preceding the first Monday of January A.D. 1829 to the payment of their debts and the redemption of their Bills with leave to send for persons and papers and if it shall appear that the same have not been so applied to enquire into the expediency of adopting further measures to effect that object with leave report by Bill or otherwise.
