On motion of mr Rogers Ordered that the Joint Standing Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to enquire into the expediency of altering or abolishing an act entitled "an act to abolish special pleadings" passed March 1831.

On motion of Mr Cobb, ordered that the Joint Select Committee on the alteration of laws, regulating the education of youth be instructed to enquire into the expediency of passing a law requiring the inhabitants of school districts when a part of this district shall be set off by a vote of the town to pay over to those persons so set off their proportion of lands building and money belonging to the said district. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.
