Agreeably to assignment the House proceeded by ballot to the election on their part of a Major General for the second Division of the Militia of this State The whole number of votes given in was One hundred and seventy necessary to constitute an elect eighty six - Greenleif White had Ninety one votes and was declared duty elected on the part of the House.
