Order from the House of Representatives, instructing the Committee on Manufactures to inquire into the expediency of so for changing the act passed February 7th 1825 exempting from taxation for the term of six years all property vested in manufacturing establishments of Cotton, Wool, Iron and Steel that no manufacturing Company here after to be incorporated, shall be privileged by the like exemption, read and passed in concurrence.

Order from the House of Representatives instructing the Committee on Banks and Banking to inquire into the expediency of so altering or amending an Act passed March 21 1823 entitles an "Act to regulate Banks, by prohibiting the emission and circulation of Bank Bills or notes of a small denomination"; so that all persons and Corporations, that shall be subject to the same penalties and forfeitures which persons and Corporations are now Liable by said Act for receiving said Bills, read and passed in concurrence.
