14 said Charles Green, James Mantor, Levi Johnson and Obed Wilson are the four highest and Constitutional Candidates for election. From the town of Corinna in the County of Penobscot 148 votes were returned for James Mantor, 148 for Charles Green, 79 for Obed Wilson & 79 for Levi Johnson for Senators for the Ninth Senatorial District. Inasmuch as said town of Corinna belongs to the Tenth Senatorial District, and as the Committee believe the word "Ninth" in said return to be an error of the Selectman & Town Clerk and that the inhabitants of said town intended to, and did vote for Senators for the Tenth District, they have counted said votes for the Tenth District.

The whole number of votes returned, as allowed by the Committee for the Eleventh Senatorial District is 12.309. Necessary to a choice 3.078. Joseph Tobin has 3.637, Daniel Brown, 3.631. And are severally elected. The Committee further report, that they found many informalities in some of the returns, other than those mentioned, but as the Committee believe them correctly to represent the votes as given by the people, they were received and counted. Which report was read and accepted.
