Met according to adjournment

On Motion of Mr. Hobart of Edmunds Ordered that tommorow [tomorrow] at 11 o clock in the forenoon be the time assigned for the choice of Major General for the seventh Division of the Militia of Maine on the part of the House

A Message came from the Senate informing the House that they had reconsidered their vote whereby they passed to be enacted and to be engrossed Bill to repeal an Act respecting the packing and the inspecting of Pickled and smoked Fish amend the same and pass the same to be reengrossed as thus amended and request the concurrance [concurrence] of the House. The House reconsider their vote passing the Bill to be enacted and to be engrossed adopt the amendment of the Senate and pass the same be reengrossed as thus amended in concurrance [concurrence] with the Senate

Bill to set off Cornelius Thompson from Bowdoin and to annex him to Lisbon was read a first and second time and tommorow [tomorrow] at ten o clock assigned for a third reading

Leave of absence was granted to Mr. Lothrop of Leeds from and after Monday next for four days
