212 Monday, February 23, 1835.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed, Bill to set off Samuel Lord from the town of Falmouth and annex him to the town of Westbrook, -"- to incorporate the Frankfort Granite Company, -"- additional to an Act providing for the appointment of public Administrators and enlarging the powers of Judges of Probate, and the same were severally passed to be enacted.

The same Committee reported as correctly engrossed Resolve in favor of Deacon Sockbasin, -"- in favor of the Passamaquoddy Indians, -"- relating to a survey of the Androscoggin River with a view obstructions, and the same were severally finally passed.

Order from the House of Representatives instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire into the expediency of allowing parties, at the discretion of the Court to testify in their own causes read and passed, in concurrence.

Order from the House of Representatives instructing the Committee on the Judiciary to inquire what alterations, if any, ought to be made in the law, relative to ferries - read and passed, in concurrence.
