Report on Petition of Jainus Keene & others - granting leave to withdraw - was read and accepted - sent up for concurrence -

Agreeably to assignment the two branches of the Legislature met in the Representatives Hall for the purpose of choosing a Treasurer of State - Messrs. Groton and Smith of the Senate - Messrs. Moore of Dover, Robinson of Hallowell and Arnold of Palermo of the House were appointed a committee to receive, sort and count the votes therefor - who having attended to the duty assigned them, reported that the whole number of votes given in was one hundred and eighty five - necessary to constitute an election ninety three - Mark Harris had one hundred and fifty five, and was declared elected - and the convention separated -

A Message was received from the Senate informing the House that the Senate had on their part made choice of Ezekiel Foster Major General of the seventh Division on the Militia of this State in concurrence with the House

Bill { additional to increase the salary of the Register of Probate in the county of Somerset " to annex Township No. 19. to the town of Columbia were read a third time and passed to be engrossed - in concurrence with the Senate - sent up.
