The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed, Resolve for the purchase and distribution of Fairfield's Reports, " in favor of the Passamaquoddy Indians, and the same were severally finally passed.

Resolve relative to the election of Senators came up from the House amended. The Senate recede from their vote of the 17th inst. passing said Resolve to be engrossed, adopt the amendment proposed by the House, and pass the same to be engrossed as amended, in concurrence.

Communications were received from Jabez Bradbury and Thomas Crocker, signifying their acceptance of the office of Counsellors - read and sent down.

On motion of Mr Clark, Ordered that a message be sent to the House of Representatives, proposing a Convention of the two Houses in the Representatives' Hall this day at eleven o'clock, for the purse [purpose] of qualifying Jabez Bradbury and Thomas Crocker, Counsellors elect, who have severally signified their acceptance and their readiness to take and subscribe the oaths of office; which message was delivered by the Secretary.

A message was received from the House of Representatives concurring in the foregoing proposition.
