Petition of Charles Stimpson & others to be incorporated for the purpose of establishing a horse or steam ferry boat from Kittery to Portsmouth, and also for a grant to construct a bridge across Spruce Creek, was read & referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Alexander Reed for authority to execute a deed from the estate of Andrew McFarland & for other purposes taken from the files of the Senate of last year, was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Hiram H. Hill for compensation for services as engrossing Clerk 1834 was read & referred to the committee on claims. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill - an act regulating attachments on Real Estate, was taken & referred to Messrs. Cilley of Thomaston, Dumont of Hallowell & Emery of Hampden.

Petition of Samuel L. Heagan for change of names was read & referred to the committee on change of names.

The Committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed Resolve in favor of Gideon Robinson which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.
