Resolve for providing for the purchase of a site for the Gun House in Paris, came from the Senate reported to the committee on the Militia - and the House recede from their vote of yesterday on this Resolve & concur.

Report of the committee on the petition of Thomas Gray & others of Anson, referring the same to the committee on Literary Institutions was read and accepted. Sent up for concurrence.

Report of the committee on the order of 2nd inst in relation to pay of Enginemen, that legislation is inexpedient was read & accepted. Sent up for concurrence.

Report on the petition of Peter Adams, referring the subject to the next Legislature, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Petition of James Allen & of Jacob Toothaker for change of name was read and referred to the committee on change of names.
