The committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly engrossed Bill An act additional to an Act providing for the appointment of Public Administrators and enlarging the powers of Judges of Probate An Act to incorporate the Frankfort Granite Company An Act to set off Samuel Load from the town of Falmouth and annex him to the town of Westbrook which were severally passed to be Enacted. Sent up for concurrence.

The same committee reported as truly engrossed Resolve in favor of the Passamaquoddy Indians in favor of Deacun Sockbason relating to a survey of the Androscoggin River with a view to remove obstructions which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence

Resolve authorizing a temporary Loan in behalf of the State, was taken up and recommitted the committee on Finance.

A communication was received from the Secretary of State transmitting the Returns of the Blind made to his office and in 1824, which was read and referred to Messrs Foster of Pembroke, Benson of Winthrop and Curtis of Freedom

Bill An act additional to an act to incorporate the City of Portland, was read 1st and 2nd time and on motion of Mr Vose of Augusta ordered to lie on the table
