Bill additional to establish the Bucksport and Prospect Ferry Company (reported in the House by the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, on petition of Philemon Higgins, Bill providing for the use of broad rimmed wheels in the County of Penobscot (reported by Mr. Fish from the Joint Special Committee to which was referred an order relative to that subject) Resolve providing for the purchase and distribution of Greenleaf Reports (reported by Mr. Chandler from the Committee on the Judiciary on an order relative to the same) Resolve in favor Joshua Elder (reported by Mr. Prescott from the Committee on Claims, on petition of Joshua Elder severally read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Preamble and Resolves in relation to the United States Bank (reported by Mr. Greene of Somerset from the Joint Select Committee to which was referred so much of the Governor's message as relates to the United States Bank) were read, and on motion of Mr. Greene of Somerset, ordered to lie on the table till next Friday at ten o'clock in the forenoon; and, on motion of Mr. Emmons, ordered that three hundred copies of the same be printed for the use of the Legislature.
