Petition of County Commissioners of Lincoln for amendment of the laws concerning highways -- read and referred Messrs Barnard, Smith and Miller.

Petition of Commissioners of Lincoln County for an alteration of the law relative to a Municipal Court in the town of Bath -- read and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of Simeon Matthews and others to be incorporated by the name of "Waterville Liberal Institute" -- read and referred to the Committee on Literature and Literary Institutions, in concurrence.
