Petition of D.D. Brackett and others to be incorporated as the Granite Company -- read and referred to the Committee on Manufactures. Sent down for concurrence.

Remonstrance of the town of Brooksville, Remonstrance of the town of Castine, Remonstrance of the town of Deer Isle, and Remonstrance of the town Penobscot against the removal of the Courts from Castine to Ellsworth severally read and referred to the Committee on Division and Alternation of Counties, in concurrence.

The Committee on State Lands, to which was referred the petition of Matthias Murch, a Revolutionary Soldier, made a report, asking to be discharged from the further consideration of the same, read and accepted, and the petition aforesaid referred to the Committee on Military Pensions, in concurrence -- and the same on motion of Mr Emmons, was ordered to lie on the table.

Resolve for the relief of Samuel Leach was read the second time and passed to be engrossed, in concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the town of Bridgeport came up -- the House nonconcur the Senate in the indefinite postponement of said Bill and refer the same to the next Legislature. The Senate recede from their former vote indefinitely postponing the same and refer the said Bill to the next Legislature in concurrence.

The Committee on Division of Towns reported reference to the next Legislature on petition of Henry Dodge and others read and accepted, in concurrence.
