332. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Mr. Tobin, from the Conferees on the part of the Senate to which was referred the Bill to increase the Capital Stock of the Exchange Bank, on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses, made a report recommending that the Senate adhere to their former vote refusing the same a passage. And the question of accepting said report being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided, in the affirmative, as follows, to wit: Yeas. Messrs. Barnard, Clark, Fish, F. Greene, Latham, Mantor, Miller, McIntire, Purinton, Smith and Tobin, 11. Nays. Messrs. Allen, Burnham, Chandler, Emmons, Farnham, McLellan, Pierce, Prescott, Randall and Read, 10.

The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed, An additional Resolve for establishing an Insane Hospital and the same was finally passed.

Mr. Barnard from the Committee on Conference to which was referred the Bill to incorporate the Agricultural Bank on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses, reported that the Conferees had agreed that the Senate and House both recede from their votes to insist and that the Bill be referred to the next Legislature -- read and accepted.

On motion of Mr. Read, The order from the House of Representatives yesterday, requesting the Committee on Manufactures return to the House the Bill to repeal an Act relating to Manufactures, was taken up and indefinitely postponed.
