463 Bill additional for the punishment of felonious assaults and attempts to poison, -"- to incorporate Sceiop's Narrows Manufacturing Company (reported in the House by the Committee on Interior Waters on petitions of Peter G. Farnsworth), -"- to incorporate the Pembroke and Perry Manufacturing (reported by the same Committee on petition of Nathaniel Reynolds and others) severally read the second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Bill to establish a municipal Court in the town of Augusta came up from the House passed to be engrossed without the amendment proposed by the Senate. The Senate insist on their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed as amended, and propose a Conference and appoint as Conferees, Messrs. Severances, Johnson and Benson. Sent down for concurrence. And Messrs. Potter, Wells and Richardson and joined in concurrence.

Bill respecting the Maine Stage Company came up. The House, insisting on their vote passing the same to be engrossed, propose a Conference and appoint as Conferee on their part Messrs Lyman of Portland, Potter of Augusta and Stone of Brunswick. The Senate insist on their former vote indefinitely postponing the same, and concur in the proposition for a Conference and appoint as Conferees on their part Messrs Latham, Johnson and Strickland.

Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of the Smith's Block in Bangor was read the second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.
