Mr. Clark, from the Committee on Rail Roads and Canals, reported leave to withdraw on petition of Edward Smith and others (praying for charter to construct a Rail Road from New Hampshire line to Bangor and reference to next Legislature on petition of Amos Davis and others, Daniel Lane and others, John McDonald and others, and memorial of Reuel Williams and others -- read and accepted Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Mr. Merrow, from the Committee on Division of Towns, reported leave to withdraw on petition of Frances Brainerd and others - read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

The same gentleman, from the same Committee, reported, that said Committee had acted upon all the business before them and asked to be discharged from any further business the present session -- read and accepted Send down for concurrence. Concurred.

Bill to incorporate the Kennebec and Portland Rail Road Company reported by Mr. Clark from the Committee on Rail Roads and Canals, on petitions of R. H. Gardiner and others, and Oliver B. Dorrance and others read once and ordered, on motion of Mr. Clark that 300 copies of the same be printed for the use of the Legislature.
