Your kind letter of April the 17th up to this late time is unanswered it is partely through neglect and partly for the want of time [?] crossed out I have not one particle of feeling in regard to what you wrote me why should I have My health is not very good Mr. Brown is very well is very busy haying he has two men all the time helping him and a part of the time three and I have one young lady boarder so you see my work is considerable I have had no girl as yet and shall not as long as I am able
