I Simeon Farnum of Plantation No. Two in the County of Penobscot yeoman, aged sixty one do hereby testify & say, that on or about the month of January 1776 I inlisted into Capt Peabodys Company & Col Parsons Regt. for two months; stationed at Roxbury: at the expiration of this time I was regularly discharged: In July of the same year I inlisted into Capt Sam'l Johnson Company & Col. Wigglesworths Regt for five months: I went to Ticontiroga: I served this time out & was regularly discharged at Ticonteroga in New York: In the year 1777 I inlisted into the A Capt Johnsons Company again & I think Col Titcombs Regiment, for three months: I went to Rhoad Island: I was regularly discharged at that place: I then inlisted into the same Company & Col Johnsons Regt for four months & was at the Capture of Burgoine: I served this time out & was discharged at the White Plains in New York: I hereby relinquish all claim to any previous pension on account of my P. services. [stricken] I do hereby further testify, that I have lost my discharges: I am now under reduced circumstances & need the assistance of country for my support. Witness my hand. Simeon Farnum
