[Letter from Treasurer of State]

Counties" passed 30th January 1822, I have the honour to lay before the Senate and House of Representatives in Legislature assembled, a Report of the State Treasury, and an account of the receipts and expenditures of Public money for the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two: by which it will appear that, including the balance of cash on the thirty-first day of December - one thousand eight hundred and twenty one there has been received at this office, during that period, one hundred thirty nine thousand, nine hundred and ninety nine dollars and thirteen cents; and that the expenditures therefrom for the same term, have been one hundred, fourteen thousand four hundred ninety seven dollars and sixty one cents; leaving a balance in the Treasury of twenty five thousand five hundred and one dollars and fifty two cents -

was read in the Senate and was, on motion of Mr Bond, with the accompanying papers, referred to Messrs Dennet and Whitney, together with such as the House might join - sent down for concurrence - came up concurred - and Messrs McCobb, Swallow and Milliken were joined. -
